I was wondering if anyone had experience with kl-racing.se's manifolds, specifically for Volvo T5s?

I can recomend you Weldpartsperformance instead, maybe a bit more expensive, but when it comes to Volvo T5s this guy can be trusted. You can find him here on http://www.garaget.org/R-efined or on facebook https://www.facebook.com/weldpartsperformance.

The parts from KL-Racing works, but most of the parts won't fit perfectly and the quality over all isn't so good. Boltholes aren't matched as good as original, so i recomend you to take a look on the parts that's a bit more expensive.

I think the exhaust manifold will work properly, they bought a service from a guy whos really good at manifolds, to make a manifold for them that they can reproduce in big scale. But i will say, i have no personal experience of it.

Speaking of the manifold, i give you a translation of what the homepage info says:
Aluminum Plenum intake throttle for 80mm
sold as second grade when you need to do some minor adjustments to get it good
(no major job though)
Model: Volvo 850 / S / V70 5-cyl intended for our 80mm throttle body
Mainly, you need to polish it internally, so that there is no risk of weld spatter, etc.
possibly less adjustment of brackets to fuelrail

I appreciate the responses. I'd like to see some pictures of the manifolds installed though. I will send them and e-mail and see if they can answer my questions.

For the price I am willing to work around manufacturing flaws. The problem is how much work will be needed to make the parts long lasting?

I dont think its about your work on it that depends its lifetime, in the exhaust manifold i think its the materials.
Maybe they put 316 pipes to a 304 flange, or maybe the complete thing is 316 or 304.
I would prefer 304 welded with back gas, it has less risk of cracking and it wont have shitty welds on the inside that may harm your turbo, if the shit got loose.

Speaking of the intake, i dont know.
Ive never seen weld splatter in aluminium welds, you must ask them for pictures where you will se the welding from inside the manifold.
