Jag har försokt att få en förklring om feelet och hur det kan föbättras.

Nämnts har varit luftmassemätare kankse orsak och dålig. Också någan har sagt at det ninns någon ICU som behovs omprogrammera. Konstigt att man kan inte har tillgång till någonting som påverkar bensin förbrukning så negativt .

Jak skulle välkommna ideer därför som jag ser dett är bensinförbrukninge 40 % högre än normalt. Och jag är inte en rik pensionär.

Men nu tänk jag försoka åtgård det här. Har inte råd längre.
Har inte gjort service ännu.
Ingen felkodsavläsning med instrument gjörtss heller ännu. De mekaniker jag har pratats med ser ut att vet inte så mycket. Kunde vara nästan allting enligt dom. Bilen var ganska billit 16,000 men går bra i alla avseende med undntag för bensiforbrukingen.
Jag är ganska snål så kör ekonomiskt.
Mäter förbrukningen genom när tomt , fylla på med 30 liter, och sen ser att det har gjörts ca 250 Km. Ingen moidiering alls, och tidigare ägts av en f.d. polisman.

En konstig sak är att på radio panellen det visas mellan 9.1 l per mil och ibland ökar den till 9.4 l .

Jag skriver inte bra svenska men hyoppas det är förståligt.

Du behöver åka till en kunnig/duktig verkstad och låta dom läsa ut eventuella felkoder.
Det finns många saker som påverkar motorn så den kan bli för törstig det har mekanikerna rätt i.

2) Change spark plugs
3) new oil
4) Perhaps change luftmassemätare
5) read codes.
I guess no 5 is nothing I can do myself. I think it's a scandal that something that may have such a substantial effect on petrol consumption is not accessible to ordinaary/normal drivers.

On the web site, it seems it's not possible to reply to a specific mail, so its good you can see I am trying to involve you. And you have been geneous so far!

Another scandal I will take up at some time. Why do almost all car manufacturers have different degree of magnification on their mirrors. So if you look in one, you may think thre object is 10 meters behind , and in another 25 metres.
And to be personal, this is the reason I had a serious car crash that stole 2 years of my life, putting me in a wwheel chair. I will do something about it. Believe me!!

Start first out with the first three points, and look carefully at the spark plugs and see if any of them got a different color than the others.
Since you donŽt know about how the car is serviced before its always a good thing to do for a first stage.

A stuffed air cleaner filter is devistating for the consumption, its like driving with the choke on all the time.

You can see online how its done, often via youtube, its not brain surgery. );

As Oves_Bror cleverly suggested, go to "Svensk Bilprovning" and do a read out, 200sek is quite cheep.

Based on my novice knowledge of cars, an out-of-control fuel consumption is usually, as many others have indicated, due to clogged/bad filters. I second the recommendation of visiting Bilprovning, have them run a test and provided that the result is conclusive, replace the filters.
