Sorry for writing in english but my swedish is horrible.

I have recently bought a 1997 Volvo 940 STC and I am going to lower it and go for 17X8  Rondell 058 wheels.
How much would I lower it for a nice fit?  I don´t want to go too low because I am almost 40 year old and I this car is a daily driver  smile

I am going to get 25mm anti-sway bars in front and rear along with the Bilstein B6 shock for all 4 corners. The only question is how much to lower the car.....cutting springs is not an option. I need the car to pass inspection with these modifications.

Does anyone of you guys (and girls) have useful info on the subject?

Jon.

As a daily, you should get 40/40mm

I was thinking 60/40 because it also gives a nice stance to the car. But 40/40 is probably smarter for daily use.

I am an icelandic aircraft mechanic living in Copenhagen. I speak perfect danish and understand swedish. Have family in Stockholm so I get a little practise when I am there  smile

Coilovers for the 940 are very expensive and since it´s not a track-toy it is not necessary. But just think the car will look stupid on 17 inch wheels without lowering it.

The ET15 hopefully fits nicely without sticking out from the fenders.

The 60/40 is very tempting. But I have been searching the forum for a 940 Kombi with these wheels and lowering springs....no luck. But I am sure they exist smile
