This race marks a year of racing our little yellow motorized can and a return to the track where it all started. We brought a great car this time, having learned, and repaired, a lot of stuff that we're amazed worked for as long as they did. Plus, the motor that died on us at Reno-Fernley had been replaced and it was definitely better, so much so that we ran all day Saturday on 3 cylinders and had a big lead in class. We fixed the motor that night (rocker arm) and ran better on Sunday, but a ball joint failure earned us our first tow But we fixed it and held our lead and took first in class again. Yep, our little Opel dominates the lower ranks of LeMons!
