20-year-old Scott McLaughlin thrilled the crowds in the second race with his 650 HP Volvo S60 Polestar V8SC where he fought hard with five-time champion Jamie Whincup for a podium finish, a fight which culminated on the last lap and in the very last corner to the joy of the crowd of over 80 000 spectators.
