getting parts in tyskland...

...is still quite hard. and i'm talking about trim parts or stuff like that. it took almost a half year to get thos wood-panels for the dashboard. another year for the reflexramp, which i found new over here on ebay. that was the most suprising found i have to say. i was also lokking fo the armrest...which i bought in the u.s. after a long search...
so most people say, that blocket.se, tradera or bildeslbasen would an option if its about parts for my brick. but if your not from sweden or any other scandinavian country its almost impossible to buy stuff via those sites. for example my "vindavvisare-story" ;) what you must know is, that even i'm from germany and writing here in english, i can speak quite good danish, can write okay in swedish an can read swedish without major problems. anyways, i'm pretty sure that you would agree, that it is easy to find vindavvisare on blocket. an off course i did. i think i tried around 10 times to buy them. i always wrote in swedish, offered all shipping costs but every time the sellers refused to sell me the parts. same story with the träinlägg for the dash...after 6 months i finally found ole from göteborg - he just said "yes! no problem!" why is that? as i said, the reflexramp was on german ebay, and i was the lucky winner (dont ask about the price really!). so what about tradera? i think i found every part i was looking for the last months on tradera. cool thing. so i finally got my account there...and found out, that bidders outside scandinavia are forbidden....hahahahaha.
btw, germany scrapyards are filled with golfs and passats and ford and what not. i'm checkin our scrapyard quite often, and in the last 12 month only three bricks have been there. most suprising was a blue 740 from sweden, packed with rare parts (chromeparts and the myntfack!). i tried to get as much as possible...maybe some german 740 enthusiast is interestet ;)
cheers and hejdå
btw: still sökes träinlägg till dörar och vindavvsare....;)
