I recently restored a 1977 Volvo 242 GL here in Canada. The interior is supposed to be identical to the interior in your car, except I have yet to find the same inner door panels as you have, they are very rare. The panels I am using are from a DL and only have 2 metal strips and have a horizontal pattern instead of the vertical pattern like in your car. I you know where I can find the proper panels, please let me know. I think 2 door Volvos are super looking cars. Cheers from Dennis in western Canada
