Really nice 242, is it easy to find old 240s in good shape "over there" now?

Probably easier than Sweden. You can buy a 244 in good shape for 1-3k USD. 242s usually a little more. 245s are beginning to go up in value. No rust in California :)

Okay, is it common to see 240 turbos for sale also? In sweden the 245 is not the same value as the 244 and 242, but I guess it will change in a few years... :)

240 turbos are fairly common, but not as much as they use to be 5-10 years ago :( My friend just bought an 83 group a (only year turbo flathood in US). Supposedly there were only 500 total. Sometimes they pop up in groups, sometimes nothing for months. There's a few on turbobricks.com right now. Check out craigslist.org in SF Bay Area if you're interested in trying to import one to Sverige.
