Yesterday I had the great pleasure to borrow a black Ferrari 458 italia from the same amazing guy who let me borrow the Carrera GT and F430.
I'm really reallyyyy loving this car, in every single way. Everything about it is just so perfect, from design to exhaust sound, to interior design
to being a extremely super fast car to having a crappy stereo. Even the stereo has it's charm, because you know it'll always be on off!
Anyways, I was heading to get the keys in my Corvette, it poured down rain like insane and my Vette is ridicilously bad in rain I've noticed, hell I was thinking
everything would come to an end... How am I gonna shoot the 458 in this heavy rain?!
It turned out I somehow did, my camera took some violence (read: rain). I used no flashes at all, even tough I somehow
managed to bring them along in the Ferrari together with all equipment pretty much. I'm NOT saying the trunk was huge though, Corvette has the advantage!
But damn this car was so much better than having a big trunk. It's a thrill, so much better than anything I've ever driven so far, if you exclude the Carrera GT perhaps.
The exhaust sound was just perfect insanity, very calm at 1% foot pressure at gas and then just turned into the loudest thing
on the planet with the foot further down. It did scare people on the streets...
Gear shifts also were brutal, faster than The Stig on a manual stick, which is good.
Enough talking about it, I'll just cry myself to sleep that I don't own one haha... :oh:
Here's some photos, bear in mind that I couldn't shoot it ALL the time, it was raining too much,
and the car was actually more fun to drive than photograph, believe it or not!
Obviously my two favorite photos are the rig shots, I just love them...
So do check them out in 1680px wide here:
