Well here it like this, the Croatia coast is separated on 3 region + islands, 1st is ISTRA (towns on coast and tursitic destzinations are Pula, National park BRIJUNI, Novigrad, Umag, Rovinj, Opatija ... and lot's of smaller places, inside of that region is very goof to vidit little town called MOTOVUN, it's town on the hill, world famous of world film festival, this region is bordering on the north with Slovenia) 2nd Region is called PRIMORJE (town are Rijeka, Crikvenica, Selce, Novi Vinodolski and Senj - really not interesting part of coast, but its the destination where you must pass if u are going to islands KRK, RAB, LOŠNINJ or PAG),
3rd region and for me the most beatufull is region called DALMACIJA (Dalmatia, and u have Dalmatia and South Dalmatia), the climatic is very good and hot, nice cedar woods with a lots of crickets that are ''singing'' all night long, beaches are beautiffuly, people are frendly, not high prices except Dubrovnik, realy my suggestion to visit some part of this region ... towns are beggining with Zadar, Biograd, Vodice, Šibenik, Solin, Trogir, Split, makarska and till one to Dubrovnik). Also islands like Brac, Hvar, Korcula ...
Also in front of Zadar is island Pasman and Ugljan and after that is another national park called KORNATI
My reccomendation is to visit if u are going to Croatia =
Zagreb - capital
then u go to national park PLITVIČKA JEZERA, it's cca 2 hours on highway from Zagreb, after that yoz proceed to ZADAR, for me it the nicest town on croatia coast, nice old part of town on sea side, cultural thing, really you have a lot of to see there, like the church of St. Donat, listen to the sea organs, see the sunset one of the most beatifull in the world, that confirmed Alfred Hichock (you can see the memorial on the coast in zadar).
Then if u like to party you must drive 1 hour to the Island Pag and go to place NOVALJA and visit the biggest partyground on coast world famous ZRCE, but bring a lot of money, party is there 24/7 !!!!
Then if u have time, drive more souther, visit places like Biograd, Vodice, Split and Makaraska, don't go to Dubrovnik, it's far from Zadar like 6 hours, no highway and it sick expencive in that town, coffe is more like 5-10 euro, depend in which caffee bar or restaurant, for everything you like to see u have to pay entrance !!!
If u have some more questions just ask, if u will need a place to sleep, apartment or something like that, i can help you also in that problem, arrange the room, apartman, cottage, trailer, bungalow ...
here u can looke at very high resolution map :
http://www.entercroatia.com/hr/karte/au … vatske.jpgRemember, you have all the way till enter the Croatia till Zagreb and more on till all those towns like i said - highway, no highwas on islands, and no highway to Dubrovnik, it's still building the highway, i thing tey came till Makaraska, furher than that its the ordinary road
