Volvo S40 1.8i tuning

I want to tune  the 1.8 non-turbo motor !!  Is it possible to reach 250-300 hp ?

If anyone here done it already , share  info !!! smile

It's possible, but VERY expensive and difficult. Get a car with turbo. smile

Yes, but they do not have a Renault gearbox that can not handle the power. This has been tried and the parts probalby still have not returned from orbit.

Also there are no point tuning a N/A car when there already are turbomodels of that exact car. You can get a S40 T4 with a broken timeing belt for €500, just replace the head and you have 200hp. Stage 3 tuning will provide 250hp

Yeah, but dont u think they have bigger engines than 1,8l and still they cost alot to tune? Get a car with turbo to start with unless you want to take a loan../or  replace the 1,8 engine with a t4 engine and start tuning.
