Min Volvo 850R har alla system för fyrhjulsdrift från V70 R AWD, med M58h växellåda

Bakaxel:

All drivetrain, rear suspension, fuel and exhaust systems are taken from the Volvo V70R AWD (1998). The engine did not change, stay on 850 (B5234T4, was in a much better condition than the donor's one. The recently passed a full range of works from an authorized dealer). They are identical in everything except the fuel rail. This, together with the fuel line from the V70. In fact, technically the car at the moment is a stock V70R
Some mods that I plan in the near future:
- BSR Chip
- CCI Box "Carbon Charger Intake" från Simota
- Simons exhaust from cat to bak divorced on two sides
- 3" Ferrita Downpipe
- Original 18" Pegasus wheels
- Original S60R Brakes
- KW coilover variant 2

Damn nice! Probably the only 'AWD' Volvo 850R in the world . I really like the 'oliv green' color! I will surely follow this thread

Thank you! Olive Metallic 854R AWD may indeed unique in the world ... But in England there is a black 854R AWD, in Norway there are 855R T-gul AWD, and in Sweden Shaffran S70R AWD

Thank you! Olive Metallic 854R AWD may indeed unique in the world ... But in England there is a black 854R AWD, in Norway there are 855R T-gul AWD, and in Sweden Shaffran S70R AWD

The 'Shaffran' S70R AWD here in Sweden i know about. TM Racing 'http://www.tmracing.se/' a tuning company helped out building that car. They have also done the work on my engine . But the black 854R AWD in England and the cream yellow 855 T-5R in Norway i didn't know about.

I know this tuning studio too:) The next year plan to boost the engine to 450-500 hp, where better to turn in TM racing, or in Autotech?

Thank you for the links! 450-500 HP sounds very nice! . It doesn't matter if choose TM Racing or Autotech because both of them are very good and professional.

But if you ask for my personal opinion i would say TM Racing. Thomas there are really great at Volvo engines and very helpful. TM Racing is also closer than Autotech from Russia .

Sorry. I don't have any more information about Tommy Borgs S70R AWD.

Who said that first generation of Volvo's AWD system is weak? I have not heard anything like it ....
And Tommy Borg says the opposite of its high reliability. In addition to all this, I wanted my car was completely Volvo-original

But it's a known fakt that the first generation of AWD is weak, in any case here in sweden.
And i know, because i daily drive a V70R AWD.
And i would say that the angel gear, the sleev and the transmission out going axel ar the realy weak spot.

If this AWD system really is so weak, how can that ensures stable working with a capacity of over 400 hp at Tommy Borg's S70R AWD. In his interview in European Car Magazine, he says that he havent any problems with operating of this car. It is true, that his car have original Volvo AWD drivetrain, without strong modifications, or am I mistaken? Of cours, I know that drivetrain on AWD series of 850 \ S \ V70 is weaker than front-wheel drive version. But, how big this difference?Which power it can provide, without any problems?

Passar V70R avgas bolton på 850?

Finally I went and put tires on new wheels for 850R.
It is Pegasus original 8*18 wheels (Question to experts: does it needs to install spacers, and if yes, what size of them?) in silver colour and Pirelli Pzero 225/40 R18 88Y tyres.
The maximum load index of this tyres, as you can see, is very small - only 88(560 kg on each wheel).
Unfortunately, I paid attention to this very important characteristic of the tires just a month after purchase.
Now I can not carry a lot of cargo in the car .... a maximum of four passengers and an empty trunk, or vice versa, the weight, but no passengers in the cabin.
